The heart of the heater is a halogen-filled quartz tube. We chose it because it can handle those rapid temperature swings without giving up on you. Behind the heating element, there’s a special reflective coating. Its job is to bounce the infrared energy forward, so more of the heat actually reaches its target instead of getting wasted. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s the standard for this type of lamp, and for good reason. It’s just a simple, two-pin design that makes the lamp a true drop-in replacement.
