How it actually works
Standard heaters just warm up the air. The problem? That often just pushes the moisture into the corners of the room, where it loves to hang out. Our infrared lamps take a different path. Instead of fighting the air, they send short-wave radiation straight to your walls, tiles, and ceiling. It’s like a targeted heat strike. By warming the surfaces themselves, the water evaporates way faster. Built for the steam
Let’s be honest: bathrooms are a nightmare for electronics. Between the steam and the occasional splash, a cheap heater can fry itself in a few weeks. That’s why we stick to IPX5 standards. It basically means the housing can handle water jets from any angle without breaking a sweat. We use sealed quartz envelopes and connectors that don’t corrode. But here’s the tricky part: you can’t just glue a cover on a lamp. The seal has to be flexible enough to handle the quartz expanding as it heats up. If it’s too rigid? The lamp pops. We’ve spent a lot of time making sure that doesn’t happen.
A quick heads-up on installation
Because these lamps pack a lot of heat into a small space, they get hot. Really hot. This is great for drying your walls, but it means you have to be careful about where you mount them. Don’t put these against cheap PVC or flammable plastics. Give the fixture some breathing room so your ceiling doesn’t warp. Just pick a heat-resistant spot, and you’re good to go.
